This Privacy Policy explains how Wea (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Wea mobile application (the “App”) and related services (together, the “Service”).

1) What data we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide Wea’s core features.

2) How we use your data

We use your data to:
- Provide core Service functionality (maps, nearby content, reporting, switch coordination, and private spot coordination).
- Maintain your account and saved vehicles.
- Help prevent fraud/abuse, enforce community guidelines, and keep the Service safe.
- Provide customer support when you contact us.

3) Legal basis (EU/EEA users)

If you are in the EU/EEA (including Croatia), we process personal data based on:
- Performance of a contract (to provide the features you request),
- Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service reliability),
- Consent (for permissions like location access, and for optional data like phone number where applicable),
- Legal obligations where required.

4) How location permissions work

You control location access in your device settings. If you deny location access, some location-based features may not work (for example, showing nearby parking content).

5) License plates displayed for coordination

To support Switch Offers and coordination, your full license plate (as entered by you) may be displayed to other users involved in the relevant coordination flow (for example, to help identify the correct vehicle during a switch).

6) Where your data is stored (Supabase)

We use Supabase as our backend/database provider to store and process Service data. Supabase acts as a service provider (data processor) on our behalf to host and store information needed to run the Service.

7) Sharing your data

We share your data only in these cases:

A) With service providers

B) With other users (as part of the Service’s functionality)

We aim to minimize what is shown and display only what is necessary for the feature.

8) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to:
- provide the Service,
- comply with legal obligations,
- resolve disputes, and
- enforce our agreements and community guidelines.

When you delete your account (in the app under Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account, or via weapark.com/delete-account), we immediately and permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal data: profile (name, email, phone, avatar), vehicles and license plates, saved places, search history, notification tokens, and support conversations, and we permanently disable sign-in. Booking, parking-session and payment/ledger records are retained in anonymized form for statutory bookkeeping, tax (including DAC7 seller reporting) and dispute-resolution periods, as permitted by GDPR Art. 17(3)(b). Deletion is blocked while you have an active or upcoming booking, an active parking session, a live Switch, or an unpaid charge — settle these first.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including access controls and secure storage practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

10) Your rights and choices

Depending on your location (including GDPR rights in the EU/EEA), you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct/update your data
- Delete your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
- Data portability (where applicable)

How to exercise your rights

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

11) Children’s privacy

Wea is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12) International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries different from where you live, depending on where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

13) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” and may notify you in the App.
